Offline Marketing Mastery

Did you know that if you treat Offline Marketing consulting like a product, you’ll get a lot more local business clients? A product is much easier to sell than a service, and here are just a few reasons why:

  • A product is much more tangible and people know exactly what they’ll be getting when they invest in it.
    .
  • A product has very specific benefits and outcomes, which are a lot easier to explain to a local business prospect.

Offline Marketing services? Sounds more like a ‘concept.’

As Offline Marketing consultants selling services, we’re selling things that don’t exist yet (Results and value). The local business prospect can’t ‘try out’ the service you offer before they buy it (unless you’re offering it for a trial period which is a choice you have to make). In most cases, they pay for it and then they get it.

So how do you make your Offline Marketing consulting more tangible?

Package it!

5 Ways to Effectively Package Your Offline Marketing Consulting Services to Attract More Local Business
.

Here are 5 ways I effectively package my Offline Marketing consulting services to attract more local business clients, AND to increase my income. These are ways that you can start to use right now.

  1. Create a coaching program – Give it a name, schedule the dates you’ll be holding it, and create a web page, where you list its benefits. I’ve been doing this for some time now through my site over at www.AttractBusinessLikeCrazy.com – Webinars leading to a coaching program called ‘Pathway to Profits for Professional Services Businesses’ and another similar coaching program titled ‘Pathway to Profits for Local Small Business Owners’ – Same concept targeted at different crowds.
    .
  2. Include tangible items that your local business clients will receive when they enroll on your program. Things like special reports, coaching tools , CDs, Videos or any other material that could be considered to be “grounding materials”
    .
  3. Show as many testimonials about the value they get as possible. For best results, make sure each testimonial focuses on a specific result the client received.
    .
  4. Offer educational products on your Offline Marketing consulting web site. This makes prospects more confident about the value that you can bring to them. And, even if they don’t invest with you personally, they’ll most likely still buy your products to grow their business. This is a great income stream and it doesn’t need to be anything fanciful. I record my own 10 minute audios and sell them for anywhere up to $19.97. they’re labeled as being ‘Business Building Audio training Programs for Local Small Business Owners’ and cover very specific topics each time.
    .
  5. Use some kind of graphic to represent your program, perhaps including images of special reports, a logo if you have one, audio CDs and so on. Or use a combination of different media.

This strategy works but whether it’ll work for you is an entirely different matter. Results come from action. If you take just one step everyday in the right direction I guarantee that you’ll start seeing results that you probably only dreamed of in the past.

    Mr. B,
When are you offering the Attract Business Like Crazy webinar again? I’ve recently learned about you on the forum and subscribed on your list. My background is a former financial/forensic accountant and that’s the market I’m most familiar, which may or may not be the market I should focus my business. Have not started because there’s so much information, knowing where to start has me frustrated.

Thank you for your time and education..

    Hi Gina,

    Thanks for your comments.

Knowing where to start can be a frustrating experience and I know because I’ve been there quite a few times either when transitioning to something new in my business or when I’ve taken in so much free information it feels like my head was going to explode.

You can turn any skill or knowledge you have into profits and the first thing you should do is determine what the skills you want to offer the world are.

How would you describe them in a way that someone who wants (not needs) what you have to offer would pre-qualify themselves and self-select to work with you?

Figure that out first and then the rest becomes clearer.

I don’t know when the next session will hold but if you are on my notification list you will get to know about it.

    Cheers
