Let me share with you a secret.
It’s easier than you think to have a giant PAYDAYS that generate hundreds or tens of thousands of dollars from your Offline Marketing.
I know because I’ve done it. 2009 was an abundant year for which I am truly grateful. Sure it had it’s struggles, but who doesn’t have them?
In 2009 I earned $5,000 from just one 90 minute talk, over $50k from running Offline Marketing coaching programs for service professionals, small business owners and entrepreneurs, and over $15,000 launching a new 4-week coaching program product in 2 versions. One a home study course and the other, an e-coaching program. Both reveal how they can easily leverage what they know and use information marketing as a powerful tool to add a second possibly 6-figure income stream to their business – Who said Offline Marketing income has to come directly from the internet, Wordpress, autoresponders, websites, blogs etc?
And that’s not all, but it started with a revision of my business model and a conscious decision to ‘Step UP!’
Action Point
What can you do to step up starting today that would make you more profitable in the next 30, 60 or 89 days? I would suggest raising your prices. trust me when I say that you will still attract new business and while you’ll lose a few clients, the ones that stay are with you for the long haul.
What About if I Don’t Consider Myself a Newbie?
You see, wherever you are in your Offline Marketing business there’s still room for improvement, but it has to start with a full recognition of a few facts:
- Knowing means nothing if you’re not actually DOING and getting the results you want!
- You may need to re-align your vision
- You may need to set new goals for yourself and your business
- If you have current clients, accept that you may have to drop some as you ‘Step Up’
If It’s Not Working…Drop It!
I remember back in the days when I used to spend hours figuring out what my prospects wanted and then create the almost ‘perfect’ or ‘hybrid service‘ (hybrid offerings attract more fees) that I could use as a led generation tool or to help them generate profits in their business.
I would turn around and offer those products, the same ones that had helped me generate anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars per offline client, and sell them for $12, $27 or $47 WITH PLR.
The idea was that people would take them and repeat the success. My coach and mentor gave me a wake up call that contributed to the successes I mentioned above. My coach made me realize that if someone serious could not turn a product around and use it to generate at least 10 times what they paid for it…they should rethink what they’re doing because something had to be wrong.
Since I pay good money to be coached and I want results, I changed my business model and focused on emphasizing the value of what I offered in terms of ROI and away from the investment needed for the services or products.
The results have been amazing and I urge you too to do the same.
In the process I lost some offline clients and some Offline Marketers on my list. It was a hard decision but had to be done. That’s actually a key reason why I started to explore a fresh and new niche, the Chiropractor niche. It was time to ‘Step Up’
Stepping Up - I spent less time in the Warrior Forum basically purposely devaluing my Offline Marketing products because they were being bought for cheap and illegally shared by members.
A Sad Story With A Happy Ending
Someone who was determined to be successful approached me for help. He explained that he didn’t have any money but was willing to work hard. His story is typical of many people who ‘know a lot’ about Offline Marketing but aren’t getting results. I agreed to coach him for free provided he followed the steps we agreed on.
What I discovered was that he had almost ALL the PLR material I produced and knew a lot about HOW to do things.
So where was the problem?
The problem was first of all with his thinking and secondly with his focus. Like many people involved in Offline Marketing, he paid way too much attention to learning HOW to do things, i.e. the delivery side of things.
If you’re doing that you need to stop right now because you will struggle, and possibly NEVER achieve financial freedom by doing that. Focus on mastering the WHAT, WHY and WHEN of your prospects and clients. I guarantee you’ll make more money with 75% less effort.
That’s what he did, and every item he bought that he has actually used, has generated at least 10 times the amount he paid for it . We tracked her results as part of a case study.
Master the 3 Elements
When you master these 3 elements you will also be able to charge much more for your services. Like I said earlier, you should expect to lose some clients, but you’ll lose the bargain-seekers, the ones who buy based on price.
If you enter a new niche such as the Chiropractor niche, enter with the determination to ‘STEP UP‘,because if you keep doing the same things, you’re very likely to get the same or lower value results in your Offline Marketing business.
